I’m a full-time executive coach and former founder.

I help leaders think clearly, grow quickly, and improve their odds. I coach CEOs & execs at the portfolio companies of 1517, YC, First Round, Khosla, Bessemer, & more. I also help CEOs run impactful team meetings, from strategy retreats to conflict mediation.

These days, I’m pretty jazzed about my life, but that wasn’t always the case. I know the anxiety and imposter syndrome of being a CEO because I've lived it myself: I was one of the first Thiel Fellows and ran UnCollege.org for six years. Along the way, I wrote a book published by Penguin, invested in 73 startups (and counting), and made lots of mistakes.

This stage of my life is about helping leaders think clearly, grow quickly, and embrace their humanity.

I trained with David Peterson (while he was the Head of Coaching at Google) at 7 Paths Forward and Marcy Swenson (helped to create over $40B in market value coaching the founders of Lyft, Twilio, Pivotal, and Reddit).

Outside of work, I love spending time with my puppy, skiing as much as I can, dancing to 80’s music, and eating delicious food.
